Think About It

I don't understand
With all my hard work and commitment to you
You say you care
And I get shoved away from you

But I know you would rather be with them
Don't make up excuses
And try to pretend
I can see that you're lying

Remember when you wanted to be with me
Remember when you really cared
Remember all those times we had
The love and laughter that we shared

Well now they are gone
Because you didn't love me
Because you and I couldn't get along
And I wasn't going to agree

So now here we sit
And we know our flaws
Think about it
Think about the cause

The space between us
That has defined you and me
In all the fuss
I was too ashamed to flee

So here we sit
Think about our past
Think about now and why we are here
And how we wont last

Because you shoved me away
Because you didn't want me anymore
Just making up excuses so I could ignore
The hurt the pain and the suffering you just had to give me

So here we sit
Think about what you've done
Think about what should be said
Like an apology for once
