A total stranger
With a beautiful smile
She doesn’t know
She’s just his style

Counting the days
Until they’d finally meet
He was hoping that she
Would make his life complete

She rolled in around 10
With a smile on her face
And they could both feel
Their hearts start to race

Driving aimlessly for a while
They talked for a bit
And there was nowhere else
That he’d rather sit

They went and got ice cream
Vanilla, the norm.
Though it was so cold
Her touch was so warm

They sat and they talked
About both their pasts
And he wished forever,
That moment would last

They went to the movies
And to them it felt right
He knew right there
He wouldn’t sleep that night

He moved closer
And gave her a kiss
They both had a feeling
Of the deepest bliss

She drove him home
As the sun began to set
There they both knew
This day, they’d never forget

She left with a hug
By then it was dark
He gazed into her eyes
And still saw that spark

They decided, why not
Just go for a walk
And he heard a loud buzz
That of his alarm clock

It was nine A.M.
And he wished, if only he knew
If maybe, just maybe
She had the same dream too
