I'm sitting here
Cold and alone
Listening to the ticking clock
Blocking out the ringing phone

Head in my hands
Perched on the stairs
Nobody bothers
Nobody cares

I resort to my room
Screams erupt from my tears
But nobody notices
Nobody hears

Emotions swirling
My thoughts are rolling
Nobody helping
Nobody consoling

I'm seeking attention
Someone needs to help me
But nobody comes
Nobody sees

I am slowly vanishing
I don't feel alive
But nobody will come
Nobody will arrive
