I AM NEVER SAFE FROM YOU!
In the morning I wake up,
And never want to again.
I drift through the routine,
Half there,
Half in the bleak retreat of my mind.
The great thunder of the bus arouses me out of mi stupor.
I stand shaking as it meets me by the road.
I see you at the back with your nose in a book.
What about me enrages you?
Why must you beat me EVERYDAY!?
I hate you and you make me hate myself.
You know who you are.
I no longer know who I am.
I am merely a body with no soul.
