Daddies girl takes the stage,
There is not one ounce of fear,
Only because she knows her Daddy is here.
The music begins, and she starts to dance,
She is beautiful and she cant stop smiling,
Every beat and every step, align and she is perfect.
Daddies girl had never been so happy.
This is the story of Daddies Girl,
she searched the audience even on her beautiful twirl,
looking rapidly up and down at each seat,
Finally his eyes and hers are the ones whos meet.
She knows he loves her,
Isn't that why he's here?
Daddies girl has no more fear.
Her first dance is over,
she smiles extra big for him,
Hours pass, her dances do too,
Last one, shes on right now
After this she can take her well deserved bow.
Daddies girl is nervous again,
she searches for his soft eyes to give her confidence,
she looks back to his seat,
Only her eyes and an empty chair meet.
Thoughts of evil run through her head,
She wishes she might as well be dead,
Realizing for the first time that he doesnt even care,
He had always told her life was not fair.
Daddies Girl started to cry,
she ran outside, she seemed to fly.
He had already gone,
no chance of coming back.
She could see the Daddies Girl seat in his car,
As id trove away, she knew he was going pretty far.
Tears of pain streamed down her innocent face,
There was no daddy that could replace.
Daddies Girl was abandoned left on the dark stage,
Her heart was filled with pain and rage.
He had never really cared,
the worst of it all was he had pretened to,
She had no idea what to do.
Daddies Girl watched all of the other girls,
Get flowers from their dad,
She missed his hug, she was so sad,
Each girl getting a special daddies girl kiss,
Only one of the things that she would miss.
More streams erupting from her right eye,
He didn't even wait to say good-bye.
