It's always been me
Even when it was you
All the times you hurt me
It was because I let you
and now it's me again
I'm the one
The girl waking up from her fairytale
Her perfect romance
Waking up feeling empty
And alone
You're breathing next to me
But we're not breathing the same air
You sleep on, dreaming away
I lie beside you
Feeling nothing and just trying to fall back asleep
You move slightly with a smile
Tears pierce my heart as I scream
For sleep, I'm so tired
I panic for I realize I can't go back
I reach for the bottle
Of sleeping, sleeping pills
But after this bottle
We won't be going to the same dreamland
