I knew I loved you from the start
You promised me we wouldn't part
All went well until that night
The night that we got into the fight
I said somethings I didn't mean

But you still said you loved me

I told you to go away
I couldn't stand another day
Of all the pain I put you through
And the way I treated you

I threw the words in your face
I could almost see a tear rise
But then you closed your eyes
I knew then I hurt you bad

But you still said you loved me

I thought I won when you said goodbye
Then I wanted to die
I took my razor and made a cross
I wished that the bleeding wouldn't stop
I lost myself when I lost you

I still didn't know you loved me

I called you with tears forming in my eyes
I was too stupid to realize
You are the love of my life
And I only lost you in my mind
You were there the whole time

That's when you said you loved me

When you left you said one thing to me
The words I've never heard before
"Goodnight Beautiful"

That's how I know you love me..

(The poem sucks YES I know. I only wrote this because this really did happen
to me. I had trouble with the last line so ANY advise is GREATLY
appreciated)
