As I seem to float
Lost in space
Lost in time
The darkness around me
That surrounds me
That opens its arms to hold me
`Calms my heart
And balances my soul
This darkness around me tells tales untold

Slowly I began to fall
And the light makes me feel so small
As if I am broken again
In uneven silence I feel the bed
All these feelings race through my head
The darkness has returned, yet this time it’s different
The darkness is there but I don’t feel calmer

God I want to return to that state of mind
Where I am suspended without thought or care
Where my mind is silent and I don't wonder why
