When my problems persisted,
and I preceded to fall,
that is where you caught me.
You carried me not as my Lord
but as my father.

When I had doubted you,
and I continued to deny,
That is where I learned.
You taught me not as my Lord
but as my teacher.

My father, my teacher...
My whole world around me!
You are my life,
and promised me one after.

I pray for your presence,
and bow to your name.
You have given me guidance
and I lift up your word.
As you once lifted me
from my troubles.
