Dark soul

A figure standing in the dark,
Aimed to kill,
Many times she's missed her mark.
But, everytime, she's getting closer,
The darkness in her heart has choked her.
Cruel words swim around in her mind,
Nobody else hears,
But they will in time.
They're hidden behind a wall of shame,
But they'll be spoken, that is her aim.
And yet, she shuns the thought of that day,
She cannot bring herself to say the words,
But, eventually, they will come out another way.
To her surprise she'll be relieved,
And everyone will know what she has believed.
But until she does, she'll feel this pain,
Of the darkness getting closer,
And in great disdain.
The evil will sit in the depths of her heart,
Until, one day, she'll be torn apart.
