I once was a piece of paper,
plain in every way,
then a boy came along and cut me into the shape of a young girl,
then he dressed me up in the blackest of Gothic cloths,
I was everything he wanted me to be,
but one day he got mad,
he crinkled me up into a ball,
ripped off my arms and legs,
blackened out my eyes,
after he wasn't mad anymore,
he unwrinkled me,
tapped my arms and legs back on,
and erased the marks from my eyes,
the best he could so no one would suspect anything,
this repeated itself every time he was angry,
until I was so broken I couldn't keep myself together,
so he crinkled me up one last time,
and threw me into an endless obis of other torn and broken people,
into a trash can,
all of us wait there to either be found by some curious trash digger,
or disposed of into a trash compactor,
I was one of the lucky ones,
a curious boy with big brown eyes picked me up,
fixed my torn and tattered body,
gave me new hope for the future,
and now I live happily ever after until this cycle happens again.
