When you looked into my eyes
You made everything dissapear
My imperfections, my worries.. even my fears
It was as if everything bad.. just went away
You made me believe you would be by my side, every second of every day.
You would put your arms around me, and tell me
Everything would be just fine, but now I'm losing
grip and you're running out of time.
I can't be fooled by these adolescent lies..
no longer can I stare into your once caring eyes.
Without remembering the times when life was so
easy; so easy to understand.
but here i am..Blank and empty,
and there you are -
With my heart in your hands
