They super glued him, a Frankenstein of sorts.
With pre-broken, heavy sighs and potato peeler skin.
With a color so tan you’d think he lived at the beach
Though he’d never seen the light of day
Within the fast food meat freezer
He lived and withered away
Upon pure luck they met,
Our leading man and Miss Cindy Lu
He found her ever so pretty as she fumbled around
this huge freezer shed just stumbled into
Her stiff blonde hair bobbed about as she went rummaging
For a way out.
And Miss Cindy Lu let out a shriek when our hero
Emerged and their eyes seemed to meet
He introduced himself as Frank
To which Miss Cindy Lu replied
“I like that name”
And just as they were about to kiss
Miss Cindy Lu’s boss noticed she was gone and hissed
“Miss Cindy Lu, where are you?!!?”
Out from the freezer she did cry, explaining that she was trapped inside
Moments later the door was pried
And Miss Cindy Lu was free.
Frank though he had been forgotten
For when Miss Cindy Lu’s boss was at the door knocking
He ran back and hid
Afraid that his presence would be forbid
As the man who had once so kindly tended to him
Had passed and left the fast foot to his most despicable son
The middle one.
But that was the past
And things change
Miss Cindy Lu’s boss noticed that she was acting very strange
Constantly visiting the meet freezer
Only to emerge precisely 37 minutes later
With a look to explain that all the joy had left her.
Her boss though, Mr. Grape,
Never asked about Miss Cindy Lu’s strange ways.
Miss Cindy Lu would get a lunch break, one 40 minutes or so.
She would gulp down an energy drink, then into the freezer she would go.
Within the cold she searched for the tan man she had met not so long ago.
His name she would call out again and again
She would to this for exactly 37 minutes, get no response, and emerge
From the freezer with a vanished grin.
Days went by
And Miss Cindy Lu did not come
And lonely Frank wondered if it was he had not done.
So, he decided, that next time Miss Cindy Lu came
He would reveal himself once she called his name
This day did not come and Cindy Lu he began to miss
Frank soon discovered that from work she was dismissed.
After many days of debating and turmoil
Frank set out to find the
girl who had been oh so loyal
He roamed the streets almost effortlessly
Though he knew he was a sight to see
People stared and gasped as Frank’s lumbering feet hit the ground
He spent days waltzing up to open mouthed crowds
Asking if any of them knew a girl that went by the name of Miss Cindy Lu
All just stared or simply replied “who?”
It all seemed grim until
A portly man who spoke loud and hard
Directed Frank to Cindy Lu’s yard
There Miss Cindy Lu was tugging large weeds from the ground
She seemed to notice Frank was there for she slowly eased around
A huge grin on her face as she whispered
“Frank”
He met her in a warm embrace.
There wasn’t world peace
And some tires stayed flat
But Frank had found Cindy
And that was that.
