I never really believed you
It never popped into my mind
I never thought you'd go through with it
And leave us all behind

You saw your days as crumbling
There was nothing else to wake up to
A life once full of vibrant colours
Now polluted black and blue

Your problems just grew bigger
Every day you felt more alone
A heart once warm and giving
Suddenly turned to stone

You were just another statistic
Another teen who lost his way
The bright skies you once woke up to
Started to fade into grey

You felt ignored
Like no one knew that you were around
You once filled up the lives of your friends
Now you fill up a plot in the ground

You didn't see the treasures you had
Everything was just a negative thought
Life was once an easy purpose
But it turned into a battle you fought

You pretended that you were ok
That you were really trying to get better
But you just kept on living this horror
You explained it all in your letter

You started to slip away from us
Spending every hour in your room
Instead turning into a beautiful person
Your sould died before it could bloom

You didn't try to save yourself
You wanted to get away from each lie
You were once a person of so many words
And yet you never said goodbye
