“I Can’t Forget You”

The years pass on so fast
I hardly get a chance
To say what I wanna
You start to believe what they say
You’ll never have moments like this in your new days
I lose everything
Everything I’ve done
I’ll always start to regret
But I know in my heart
That I’m always gonna wish I had set
My eyes on yours one more time

And they say
That we won’t remember
The times that we had, the times we’ve shared
And they think
That we will never know
What we thought before, we never would’ve dared
They think we won’t see each other
They want to think we won’t know each other

And still we want it to stop
To bigger, better things
Hold up, freeze time, and crack the clock
I need a moment, just you and me
We need to keep going
I can’t lose you like I’m about to
We need to rewind, reverse it
I can’t forget you.

When time mixes with dreams
You gotta face the feeling, so it seems
But no matter what it’s illusions turn to
Just realize there is no me if there is no you
And if it confuses you, makes you cry
Stand up to the light, don’t be shy
You know why you don’t feel so torn apart
You know I’m here; I’m in your heart

Don’t cry, little girl
I’m still the boy that I used to be
I may look different, and so do you
But inside you feel that I’m still me
I’m still me
You’re still you
A little bit older
But none less true
I just want you to know
Want you to know that I can't forget you.
