I sit at my desk
Just barely awake
Recess is nearing
But I still need to wait

For the clock is a’ ticking
`Tis a quarter to twelve
The class is so nervous
And I am, myself

The teacher, she knows this
But dares not to speak
Of the heavenly break
That our young hearts do seek

I can see the bright sun
My hands are quivering
A breath of fresh air
Sends my nostrils shivering

I long for the jungle gym
The sandy playground
To grasp the monkey bars
Hear the school bell sound

I want to climb the stairs
I want to whiz down the slide
I want to slip down the pole
Oh, what a ride!

Ah, but I digress
I am still in hell
The captial of-

*DRING*

Oh wait! THE BELL!
