broken,fragile
a child with no intentions
she cared, and she loved
but it all went unmentioned
so she sat and she stared,
and waited to be saved
from this pain, this sorrow
this torture that she faced-
until one day he came along
and swept her off her feet
and all her problems disappeared
and her enemies met defeat
he made her feel almost perfect
like the scars didn't even exist
she learned to be secure within herself
and knew when she was gone, she was missed
and if you saw her today
her beauty would glisten
and all he had to do to save her
was open his eyes , ears, and heart..
and LISTEN
