One Tear in My Grave

I once had a friend,
But now he lies in pain,
torture meant for the darkest,
no more,
please,
begging for the mercy that is unable to be received,
flesh in,
flesh out.

Burning screaming out for death,
annihilation in your mind,
asking for the end of your nightmare,
mind opened to the horrors that proceed below.

Only hoping for the end to come but this is the end,
cries of the dead ring in your ears,
burning passion of hate courses within you,
all the while falling to your knees with nothing to say.

Broken smile of memory's past,
now gone,
everything once forgotten is like a gray dream inside our heads,
the way we wish it was,
the way it used to be,
then reality strikes us like the whip from a cracker man.

We will never live in our untrue thoughts,
only this desolate reality,
singing our misery tune,
let me take you home now,
your hearts ache soon to come to a halt.

Feeding the desire of hatred,
its all to consuming,
the bell tolls inside our head,
respecting the fact of the end,
we all shed a tear,
it drops in his grave,
for a moment....
time ceases to exist.
