I sit out in the darkness
Admire the beauty of the stars
Its true, they're amazing
But not nearly as amazing as you
You soon appear over the mountains
Slowly, I unfold my dark, black pedals
To absorb your rays, your greatness your beauty
I slowly outstretch my pedals
And you pour your beauty into them
Slowly, the black dissolves;
Melting away
I shed the black,
In its place comes white.
