as good as fired

my security blanket up in flames
my house burning down with no one to blame
my life gone in a split second
the last thing i need, is a supporting hand
why did this happen to my family?
we had everything planned, we had everything.
what did we ever do?
everyone was kind, both of us true
banks closed upon my eyes
there are no skeletons in our closet, no more lies
we werent perfect, we werent right
he threw up the gasoline after a recent fight
threw down a match, exploded into fire
and now its just me, my kids and im as good as fired.
