Degraded me with wrongful words

Pretended infront of others you didn't care for me

You didn't treat me with respect
Or show me the love you said you felt

You didn't care and disrespected my family
We were forced to break up
But still, I hung on

You hurt me continusly
And told me I'm desperate
But still, stupidly, I hung on

I haven't called you in weeks
Because now I'm trying to be strong
But for some reason I still think of you
And I realize, I'm still hanging on
