when we were together,
you were always in control,
an when i was around you,
i had to play a stupid role.

i had to do what you said,
or youd stop talking to me,
so i had to become who,
you wanted me to be.

But that was the biggest mistake,
that i have ever made,
you took advantage of me,
and made me your slave.

You had a say in everything,
like what i could wear,
and you wouldnt even walk with me,
if you didnt like my hair.

I thought i could change it,
and make this go away,
but it didnt get better,
it got worse everyday.

you started hitting me,
and i knew i had to choose,
It was either you or my life,
which was i willing to lose.

I couldnt take it anymore,
i had to leave you behind,
in order to find a better love,
a love of a different kind.
