Have you any words?
I’m not incompetent,
I’m not just some girl.

I may be younger,
Not quite as wise.
I’m not always wrong,
You’re not always right.

You may have changed,
Grown up a bit.
While you were gone,
I didn’t quit.

You changed my life,
Made me think.
Maybe someday,
You won’t think of me as weak.
