I ran straight into a brick wall
Now I'm ready just to fall
Off a ledge and onto the street
Killing a heart with a violent beat

Penetrate this precious skin
Tear me a new life from within
A convict of every stolen word
Whispered slowly to another girl

Envious blood drops seep into blades
Hazel eyes are movie screens as everything fades
Reach for a cold hand and hold it tightly
I'm no stranger to letting tears go slightly

Broken words and a broken life
Let them be kissed with a broken knife
Barbed wire creates a generation's guide
Wrap it around an angel, until the pain subsides

The stones in the creek never seem to crack
Unlike the angel who won't ever come back
The petals pack on, then die away
Nothing but her bones left to stay

Brick walls crumble with nothing left to crash
Another gruesome suicide buried in the ash
The street that ended a heart beat,
puts the secrets to rest
Silencing the screaming heard,
from inside her chest
