Late Night Sky

High above the starry skies
lies a cresent moon and sun.
The ball so powerful
it lights up most of the world
all at the same time.
But then there is that moon
with its giant crater rocks
which will little power
tries to light up the world at night.
In its success you see shining,
bright balls of gas,
which we know as stars.
A beauty that even over time
explodes and rebuilds.
Last, but not least the ocean.
Creating a mass that is more
than half of our Earth.
Blue radiant waters,
shallow at times, but powerful
with their sometimes tsunami waves.
There lies a galaxy so perfect like
it could only resemble a dream.
More powerful than a human
for its beauty is resiliant
and can not rebuild over time.
I still see the fire,
the stars intact in your eyes.
The moon and stars above the waters
where we sat and lived
enjoying our lives.
