Pressing against bone and labored down fingers.
A sinking hope pours out through vacant eyes.

Clenching life to the frail hips of cloth a cry breaks.
Torn and tattered rags drape limply off hunger.

Soiled boxes give shelter to feeble limbs.
Articles crinkle beside flaying flesh to trap warmth.

Mourning lips show the dread of tomorrows glow.
Circles of deep darkness illustrate saturated agony.

Cheeks filled with an eternity's grime and exertion.
Worthlees to naked eyes of pleasure.

Tainted tools swelling the disease of merciless misery.
Climbing upon and into mountains of waste.

Continued existence ponders the mind to desperation.
Seeping down a bottomless purge of a scanty existence.
