*For all the times you thought you were pulling me closer and saving
me...You were actually pushing me away*

You've given me alot,
Yet taken away more.
You've gripped to tightly,
When you should have held loosely.
You suffocated me,
When I needed to breathe.
You were always there,
When I needed to be alone.
You thought you were doing everything right,
When in fact you were killing me and shutting me in.
When I tried to tell you what was wrong,
You got mad and blamed your insecurities on me.
When I tried to fix what you said was wrong,
You always found more.
When I finally left
I wasn't hurt.
You tried to keep me safe and all to yourself,
You tried and failed.
