{authors note--I still need to come up with a more powerful ending...but my
creativity came to a sudden halt as it tends to do from time to time...any
ways..enjoy.}

“Keep quite now darling,
no one can see.
There’s not a witness in sight now,
it’s just you and me.

Get here in my arms now,
give me a kiss.
You know that you want it,
don’t try to resist.”

As she pushes away,
he slams her into the wall,
she grumbles in pain,
and tires her best not to fall.

She looks around for somebody,
some one to take her away,
from the pain and the crime,
that’s taking place today.

But there’s no one around her,
not a single soul in sight.
“This is what I get,
for going out alone a night.”

It goes on only for moments,
but it feels like days,
she’s never been religious,
but tonight, she prays.

He knocks her unconscious,
beats her black and blue,
and leaves her there bleeding,
when he’s finally through.

she spends the rest of her life,
thinking “where’d I go wrong?”
Feels like she doesn’t deserve life,
like she doesn’t belong.

All her emotions,
are mixed up and blurred,
she lives with the memory,
...and never says a word.
