How ironic of this cold blooded world
in which we consider ourselves
to to be open and free
when actually we are trapped, locked
behind the door of our own
hypocritical views and
ignorant insecurities
it brings upon much sorrow
to acknowledge the fact
that "we", yes humanity
is the only obstacle
ceasing our Utopian lives
and it is humanity
acting as a distraction
on our quest for the truth we seek
how stubborn of us if our eyes shall be open
and how naive if our eyes shall be closed
