Forest Lain: Lose to Gain

I've dreamt of my wounds worn so thin
A surreal touch of passion through my skin

No such thing to lay to rest
Soft, but broken wings, too sharp to caress

Towers higher than statues of my scorn
Dark against the crisp breath of an early morn

Eyes hidden from smiles and light
A blunt candle never burned so bright

A kiss of death was lain to sleep
A tear of blood i prayed to keep

Backing from a crimson neck
A memory drifts back to the wreck

A paradise beckoned from passing shadows
A struggle from pain that silently follows

My prince, open arms that welcomed me
Taking the image I've always hated to see

With a hole screamed into a broken heart
Destroying my pain, dreams falling apart

Imaginary scenes that I tend to believe
Lead me to a land with every strand weaved

Between dirt and leaves, the flowers always bloom
Between you and me, I'll sleep forever SOn

I've always dreamt new lives from within
Hidden from real smiles, I wither to begin

Crystals dangle from frozen towers
Season's changing, my body it devours

Another memory soo swimming with the rain
Washing your princess from her blood-ledding pain
