Fractured Friendship

As if your lungs could not
hold the capacity of a whisper
As if the words you speak
do not come out your mouth
You lie like I mean nothing to you
Like the smoke pouring from my lips
is winter frost coming out

You are forever worthless,
with the scent of lavender
You linger in my heart
like a worn out stitch,
but it never seems to hurt

(This is about a friend acting like she didn't care though I am sure she
did, I didn't want to let her go but I sure remember it.)
