The rain came today
To wash away my sins
The rain cloud formed over me
Seemed to never go away
Drip drop, the rain kept falling
I wonder if it’s worth calling
For someone's help
To release me from living in vain
I want to die no longer do I want to stay
Yet when death is so close all I can do is pray

The rain came today
The cloud formed over me
This time I didn't pray
This time the rain cloud stayed
The rain kept falling
As it released all my pain
I screamed until I had tears pouring down my face
And the water built an ocean
No longer could I breathe
No longer did I have faith
The rain cloud finally drowned my life away

The rain came today
But it had noting to wash away...
