All I want is for someone to walk with me
Through these halls of a tragedy
Please give me a loving friend
Whom I can be with until the end
I woke up this morning with a heavy heart
No one is too cool for school,
What a way to start

They make fun of me
Now that I walk my talk
I don’t even know what I done
I don’t even have to say anything
Yet they already turn me away

I won’t be labeled as average
I lived my life everyday
I cared for everyone, in every way
No one could understand
I was guided by his hand

So why not just stand here in the fork of the road
Just let my mind tell the storied untold
I’d put my trust into you
When others wouldn’t dare dream to
That was me, I was there for you

All I wanted was for someone to walk with me
Through those halls of tragedies
Please, just some loving friends
Whom I could have been with until the end

You never know how far a little bit of kindness can go
For all of you I still have love
For all of you I still see with a view from above
I’m okay so you know

It was that warm spring day in April
It was getting to be about noon
I stood up for millions and my life was taken
Not a moment too soon
