dust and fingertips

Crystals as dust- take away my eyes.

The knifes, they tingle beneath my flesh.

Floating on clouds, but still I remain.

Come, grab my hand, come with me and see-

Through my eyes of gray, shouts drift away.

Along the soft crisp air, whispers soar.

Look at my fingers, blurred in the stairs-

How swiftly they move- yet frozen still.

Take me to the end of the tunnel-

Cause this darkness is talking its toll.

Fade away, please don't leave me astray.

Hold me tightly cause I want to rest.

I think I am falling, make this end.

Tell me when its over, i’m afraid.

My body is shaking, sing to me-

The songs of the rivers and the seas.

Hum the coarse as I expire-

Farewell to this dust that stole my mind.
