Gas prices sucking the pennies right out
Newspapers scream what it’s all about
Everyone is for themselves
Forget the people who need the help
Bombs blow up like popped balloons
The next huge war is coming soon
You all sit back and watch the killed
Knowing our duty is unfulfilled
Where are the troops when you really need them?
Off fighting innocent ones for no reason
A leader who has lost his mind
Can no longer tell wrong from right
What happens when it all ends
Will you be able to tell the tale again?
The red cross cannot solve the mistakes made
You cannot hide your flaws under the shade
Kill thousands of people to get but one
Say the battle is one you’ve won
In reality you’ve created a fight with yourselves
Lack of security, no food on the shelves
United nations plain out said no
You went on with it without the ‘go’
What happens when it all comes back
Turns around and you get smacked
You’ve got a life supply of tanks and guns
But the lives you take have no refunds
So tell me why you can’t lay off
Stop this now, make the landing soft
So when you fall you won’t break
But realize that you’ve made mistakes
