You're Moving



I'm sitting here thinking
Of how you're moving away
You don't know how much I wish
I could beg you to stay

I get so sad
When you're not here with me
So how am I going to feel
When, now, I won't see you everyday?

I know I can't do anything
And this is out of my hands
But I'm going to miss you so much
And I know you understand

I know truly that if you could
You'd stay here with me
But unfortunately we can't do anything
And we'll just have to let things be

But I promise to you
That these few extra miles apart
Won't change how I am
Or how I feel in my heart

Sweetheart, I will always care for you
No matter the obstacles we may face
And truly, our relationship will be fine
Because nothing can hurt us
Not a few extra miles nor the hands of time
