"The Fire In The Sky"

The world is on fire
And I'm such a liar
I hate what I've become
so ill hide in this bottle of rum

Whats the price to pay
To feel okay
Why are these things in my mind
so dead and unkind

I could be the only one who knows
What it feels like to break
And not let it show
Its too much to take

What if i wasn't here?
Would the world stop?
Would it live in fear?
Or is my life all for not?
What if didn't want to fight?
For the rest of my life
What if i just decided to fall?
And forget it all
All the lies, that fall from the fire in the sky

This is killing me so
I guess now i finally know
My chances are gone
Or maybe they've all be blown

At the edge of the world
The fire rages and swirls
All i wanted was peace of mind
But there just wasn't enough time
To figure out the lies
That fall from the fire in the sky
