She wears clothes that bring new meaning
To the idea of casual Friday
She doesn't have anyone that hasn't yet
Hurt her in some way
It's just that loneliness
Can get the best of you
There's time when stress goes too far
It's as if there's nothing else to do
After lunch she'll go to the bathroom
And hope that the other girls
Are distracted by makeup and hair
So they won't notice what she's doing there
In the corner behind a closed door
They hear a sigh or two but it goes ignored
In this bathroom scene, there's much wrong with it
As she flushes the blood down the toilet
We all have our limits
Sometimes things can get too real
We all have things we regret
And pretend it's no big deal
He wears pink just to get some attention
A look or two is enough to make his day
He's always lonely so lately he's been
Trying to find any kind of way
To stand out, to be different
For some girl to say hello or just hi
But cross his heart and hope to die
He really wished he could change himself
But his mind has been corrupted past all help
And at lunch he'll sit surrounded by
Thousands of kids but he's still all alone
And he's hoping that people don't notice
How much it's hurting him inside
He contradicts himself by
Appearing so dramatic he can't hide
He's writing songs just to help get him by
And at night he'll think about
What life would be like if he were to die
Well, people ignoring you
Or saying something they didn't mean to be
Taking so, taking so seriously
These are the things
That can make or break a mood
That can bring forth a new attitude
She feels rejected
He's feeling numb
It's all they've ever known
She feels betrayed
He's hoping he
Knew the words to say
And maybe sometimes
All it takes is a hug
To bring a smile
And maybe sometimes
All it takes is love
For a happy end
