All I feel,
Is fear itself,
And all the pain,
That's destroying me inside,
And all I find,
I can't deny,
I'm just wasting your time.
But we can never heal the past,
A longing moment for peace at last,
The happiness came and went so fast,
My heart aches while staring at the shattered glass,
I watched myself slip down the knot,
And we all know I forgot,
To breathe.
I think I'm getting carried away,
Hoping you'll decide to stay,
Someday you'll see.
I'm dreaming as I swift and sway,
Trying to believe everything you say,
You're killing me,
I see the fire in your eyes,
I know I'm someone you despise,
This breathing pattern seems to skip,
I know I'm someone you don't miss,
But at least I tried.
