A Weekend in Appocalypse

Friday night, the Earth is chill
You walk alone, never one to feel
Another streetpost, another path
Cross the street, none cars do pass
It seems so familiar, this place, so dark
Then your heart skips a beat, no no this cannot be
At the sight of gone lover's face, you feel so weak

No more, she's dead, your brain crys
Your body trembles, those beautiful eyes
She looks, she smiles, remember her embrace
You look, a man, a cruel fate
You run, you stumble, you've been replaced

Saturday morning, a wretched thing
Relive the memory, of past night scream
She's gone, no more, her love is dead
She now rests upon that fools bed

You laugh, you talk, you socialize
You enter into other's lives
Your friends, they're called, just another lie
And yet, you do not say goodbye

You drink, you dance, all empty inside
What good is a club, no soul resides
Another girl, it matters not
She lives to see your heart rot

You wake beside a heartless body
You pray for forgiveness, no good, it seems
You see the blade, you see the gun
Whats the point, why not run?
You pick them up and set them down
Your life goes on, a suicide of its own
