Day-Old Wind

Sitting outside in the day-old wind
The thoughts in my head, forever spin
Why is it that your words never miss?
Take me down with just one hit
And in the dark, without a glimpse
Your mouth never fails to find my lips
Memories leave kitten soft paw prints in my
Hearts center
And my mouth opens up as you suddenly
Enter
Spare me my dieing day so I could be with you
Let me attach my heart to yours with crazy-glue
Let’s make this night without regrets
One more night to never forget
Give me something I’ll never have again, take me in
Let our feelings fly with the day-old wind
