When I need the love you give everyone but me
You taught me things that you cannot touch
And you gave me the warmth I lacked so much
Is it crazy to say it was love at first sight?
Is it insane to say I dreamt of you all night?
Would you laugh if I said you were the one
When our relationship has not begun?
We could talk for hours without a stop
And we’ve hung out once, but it was enough
I try and I try to get you out of my mind
But I fail and I fail, can’t say I haven’t tried
Do I have to wait to say I love you?
I have not kissed, held or even hugged you
What if I don’t grab you before it’s too late?
And everyday I’ll regret that I did wait
I don’t care if a positive answer isn’t guaranteed
I just want an answer, that’s all I need
So if my actions aren’t ethical, please excuse
