The perfect scenario,
A scene from life's common ground,
I've been reaching out,
But can't be found,
Failing I seem to be,
I'm fighting for a lost cause,
Hoping you'll think of me,
Time seems to be slipping away,
And I still can't remember what you used to say,
I don't hear your voice anymore,
It faded into numbness as you closed the door,
I fear being tied down,
The remaining silence still has a striking sound,
I still have hope and I know I'm the only one,
This is a battle you have already won.
