Don't You Wish?

Do you ever just want to wake up to a whole new life?
A life where you had no regrets,
And mistakes went un-seen,
What you look like wouldn't matter,
What you had inside is what would count.

Do you ever wake up from a dream,
Wishing it would had never ended,
It seemed so real,
And felt so right,
But reality took its place.

Do you ever fantasize about being someone else?
Because you feel you just aren't good enough,
And if you were someone else,
You'd be prettier and smarter,
Everyone would envy you then.

Don't you wish to get rid of all the guilt?
The guilt that's weighing you down,
You’re practically touching the ground,
With all this hate you hold inside.

And don't you wish you could speak your mind?
Tell people what you think,
Don't you wish,
That you could be yourself,
And live up to your expectations and know one else's.

Don't you wish?
