Wile struggling to keep my head above water,
I remember why I’m here
Love, for our hearts, is an endless slaughter
Remembering its death brings tears
I’ll ask you this and this alone
Please don’t look at me
To drown in your eyes I’m prone
Gasping for air,
Forgetting to breath again
But I don’t care
It’ll be a quicker end
Sinking deeper
I wonder if my heart will beat again
Reflexes make me try to breath
Looking for air but none is found
Though I stair right back until you leave
In your eyes I still drown
