Hearts are fragile as hope fades

We stood there hand in hand
Wasted our days away
Failed to see the fact that slowly we faded everyday
That once the moon has crashed into this alienated place
A piece of us was stolen to pay off what your worth

And he acted as if I was never real
A figment of his imagination
Like this heartache we would feel
That somehow forced us to cross the borderline where sanity once stood
That made me exist
Exist within the tomb of his heart
Where he locked me in

So here’s a piece of my heart to pay off this debt
And here’s a piece of my throat since your unreal beauty causes me to choke
And go ahead take away all this faith I had in you
I don’t care anymore I just wanted another day with you
I don’t want to see that sparkle in your eyes ever wither away

It kills me to much and puts me through complete hell
I want to either be with you or be forever stuck in my own shell
I just can’t believe I
I guess today was the day
When your eyes grew dull and your smile faded
I stood there distraught over this
As he looked right through me as though I didn’t exist
