I haunt you down
Out of view of prying eyes.
As you turn the key,
I appear. What a big surprise.
You try to scream...
My hands are clamped
Around your throat.
I'll take you down
Without a noise as you
Hit the ground.

I've been watching you;
I notice things that others don't.
Like you sip your drink.
Quiet tears run down your face;
An empty smile.
A frozen glint of ice, and me?
I'll just walk on by.
You won't even know my name.
(Sweet little Jack.)
A person, nothing more it seems.
But the night is young, and you...
You seem so tired to be out so late.

I'll follow you forever;
You play my victim,
And I'll play the ripper.
