She closes her eyes, feeling depressed,
as she lies there too distressed;
because all of a sudden her world's become a mess
and all she feels in her heart is emptiness

She's been set on automatic,
as she listened to all the static
Her emotions are so erratic,
ever since her life became so traumatic

As tears fall from her eyes,
she wonders why she even tries
Each day a new part of her dies
as he throws out another disguise

She's so sick of cruise control
The pain's really taking its toll
She wants back everything he stole,
and to quit playing this role

He destroyed her dreams
leaving her torn at the seams
She resulted to silent screams,
in retaliation to his crooked means

Then, she tells him to screw it all!
She's no longer a spineless doll!
And now she doesn't feel so small,
because she just tore down that stone wall
