I'm in tears, now.

Turn the key to push the lock,
To unravel my superstition;
If I knock on wood...
Throw a brick through this wall...
And I know you'd laugh, but,
Would your arrogance fall?
Along with this concrete?
These facts never ending -
We get it, we've missed it.
You seem to like this...?
(Rubbing it in my face.)

I saved your conversations,
Let it bury in my skin.
I ignored your aspirations;
I'll never let you get in.
Your lips caught in guitar string,
On these lonesome rusty bed springs;
You know you never left,
And I know I never will.

Oh darling, why?
Why must count on these short goodbyes?
And why must you save all my tissues?
Left in the trash, I already miss you.
My darling boy, I left you too soon.
Left you to rot in the ocean blue.
The monotony!
Too many good words gone bad...
...I never should have left.
