"Another Year Around Here"

Shes always no good
With the right words
She cant find it in her
To find a boy who cares

She parks her car near the ocean
To feel small
And she stares at the moon
And hopes it will fall soon

Another year around here
And shes all alone
She tries so hard
But she never gets to far
Her walls are crumbling
She cant stop stumbling
She just cant take
Another year around here

Shed like to leave
Take this away from her sleeve
But these chains are too strong
Her will is gone
Maybe its getting better
Or maybe its never
She wishes it would
And knows it should

She never knew it would be this way
She dreamed of a Hollywood life
Perfectly alive and fake
With a pretty smile
On her sad face
Now she just dreams about it for awhile

Half a world away
She sees the things she needs
But i guess shes giving up on today
She never feels free
